As part of World Puppetry Day and our ongoing OBJECT-ionable Puppetry Series, we present a present a brand new short children’s puppetry film called “Moober, the Well-Dressed Dog”, perfect for the kiddos…and pets alike.

Written, directed, and puppeteered by Michael Verderber, this short project began as an experiment in puppetry rehearsal, puppet making, and playing with lighting and angles. So, despite the rehearsal-quality of the work and World Puppetry Day, we thought it would be a good opportunity to release the experimental little film.

The OBJECT-ionable is based on puppet creation from household items. In this case, magazine clippings from an old National Geographic magazine, BBQ skewers, markers, and tape. The video premiered on Youtube on March 21, 2023.
