OBJECT-ionable Puppetry: Experiment No. 3 – Headless (2023)

The next release in the Object-ionable Puppetry series is our first attempt at shadow puppetry. The work is a short film called “Experiment No. 3 – Headless” created and puppeteered by Michael Verderber. As usual in the series, all parts of the production derive from found and repurposed objects; a painting canvas for the screen, and skewers for puppetry tools, to name a few.
The film premiered on YouTube on June 22, 2023. As the title suggests, the film is an experiment in theatrical puppetry form and film. Be on the lookout for more puppetry releases sporadically.
