Zero Untitled is continuing to branch out into new territory – the Japanese style of storytelling and theatre called kamishibai. “Kamishibai” translates to “paper theatre”, a genre in which cards displaying images help convey a story.

The first kamishibai will be “Ba Pot-Bellied Pigs” a take on the classic “Three Little Pigs” story, with a Vietnamese setting. The first performance will occur in March 10, time is TBD, at the Texas State Museum of Asian Cultures. Flyer designed by Juan Villarreal.

Premature Punchline’s three hour long epic of a show at The Novel Blend Bookstore during the city Wine Walk event was a sip of success! The show was performed on Saturday, February 25, from 6:00 until the event ended at 9:00. Featured comedians and comediennes were veterans Daniel Rodriguez, Michael Verderber, Katherine Orozco-Verderber, and Diego Trevino; and introducing newbies Sally Guzman, Heather Martinez, Ray Martinez, and Bailey Goodrich.

We will be reviving our sold-out 2023 production of “Death In The Aisles” with a brand new cast and crew in an auspicious return to The Novel Blend. Some old favorites and some new suspects will be in the mix, guaranteeing a different killer show each night!

And that is a wrap for staged productions for 2023! With the one-day showing of our 2023 Textual Overture, at The Flower Box on Dec. 21, we are all turning in for a long winter’s nap. The performance featured two new plays: “A Perfect Gift” and “Chanel’s Christmas”, along with our usual bevy of poetry and improv comedy from the folks at Premature Punchline.

Our variety act and open mic series, Textual Overture will be back in action on December 21st! This year will feature short Christmas plays, lots of comedic improv, a dash of holiday music, and open mic so YOU can get in on the action!

The one-day event will be on December 21st at 7:00 at The Flower Box in Kingsville. This will be a free event, so bring your creative endeavors!

The official flyer for our forthcoming Dark Tour THE ELDRITCH SEVEN written by Katherine Orozco-Verderber was designed by Diego Trevino. The audience will play the role of volunteers at the Innsmouth Institute, where they will meet and interact with the inmates, armed with only flashlights in a completely blacked out performance space.
