“Zellen” begins filming

Kylie RIIGSThe experimentally-scored science fiction short film, ZELLEN, began lensing in early September. Written and directed by Michael Verderber, the dystopian project features Kylie McIntosh as RIGGS, a woman living in an oppressive world in an attempt to acquire an item of mysterious purpose.

Cast and crew for the film include Katherine Orozco-Verderber, Amber Badger, Josue Villarreal, Julio Martinez, Zulema Villarreal, and others. Full cast and crew info will be posted soon.

Set to the backdrop of electronic music, noise, and ambience, the film is a radical departure from previously filmed Zero Untitled projects. Filming will be done sporadically throughout September and aiming towards an October release, online. Any special premieres will be announced.
