The official teaser image for the forthcoming productions of “Medea: Cerberus” (adapted from Euripides by Michael Verderber) and Christopher Marlowe’s epic “Dr. Faustus” has been posted. Designed by Beth Marie Cantu and Katherine Verderber, the image features Andrea Lorin Martinez and K. Verderber as the title characters.
Rehearsals are already underway for “Medea: Cerberus”, but performance dates are still pending. Both productions will occur at the Blue Room in Kingsville.
“Medea: Cerberus” has been adapted to the stage from the original Euripides work by Michael Verderber. The text is available through Fountainhead Press. The play is under the direction of Rebecca Ramos and Michael Verderber.
“The Tragical History of the Life and Death of Dr. Faustus” or “Dr. Faustus” for short, was written by Elizabethan playwright Christopher Marlowe and will be under the direction of both Katherine Verderber and Michael Verderber. The husband and wife duo will adapt the play to the unique staging of the Blue Room and will be presented in an alley/thrust style.
More information coming soon and rehearsal photos are already available the Zero Untitled Facebook account.
Production #96 comes in form of a poetry video from our Main Stage Director Katherine Orozco. Returning to Boston, MA (where the “Saltie” video was filmed in 2010), a skeleton two-man crew of the two Verderbers filmed this in the space of a few nights.
Such notable Boston locations seen in the video are the Charles “T” stop (the construction site) and the Beacon Hill area (some street scenes). The video is currently viewable here on our Facebook site:

Production #95 – Premature Punchline’s “Happy All-The-Days” went over swimmingly at the new location of Café 5, a venue that frequently hosts PP and Textual Overture shows! Here are a few pics of the chaos from last night. Some of the holiday-themed games were “Penalty Hat,” “Partners in Speech,” “Questions” and others. Performing last night was Debs, Drea, Poodle, Julio, Verderber, and Katy helped with tech and set up.
Our 95th production comes in the form of a Premature Punchline holiday show. Every year we cycle in which branch gets the “holiday” slot like “Twas the FLOP…” (Mainstage 2009), the “Rated R Christmas” shows (PrePunch 2012-13), and last year’s Textual Overture. So, the (late) 2015 show is headed up by Premature Punchline!
Tonight at Café 5’s new location, we reveal our ironically first 2016 production yet-still-2015 holiday show called “Happy All-The-Days” presented by our improv troupe. You will see a spattering of games that cover more holidays than the holiday season allows, squeezing in everyone’s favorite lame holidays like Arbor Day, President’s Day, and Canadian Boxing Day.
This is a free show and will be performed at Café 5 on January 5, 2016.
Our first book trailer (much like our poetry trailers before), is now ready for viewing! They will soon be posted on this site, but they are currently being posted on social media! Check our the Zero Untitled Facebook to watch the trailer for “Still Standing Still”!
