DJ Oringe (the musical alias of Michael Verderber) has released a short video for the #StylophoneGenR8Comp competition. The competition rules state that, while using a Stylophone instrument, create a song or video to win a new synthesizer. Using the Gen X-1 synth that heavily scored the “Zellen” film, some footage from the “in[somnia]” trailer, and some new footage, he pieced together a short film (59 seconds, as per rules) that explores madness and insomnia. The entry is viewable on YouTube and was released on Feb. 13, 2020.
