Dramatica (2017 – ongoing)

Under the direction of Michael Verderber, “Dramatica” will be a long-form improv exercise show that features the audience acting with ZU members. Given dramatic scenarios, actors have 1:45 to 2 to perform them in heavy dramatic fashion. No laughs allowed!

A preview was performed improvisationally (of course) on September 1, 2017. The upcoming September 8th date will be the first of many upcoming “Dramatica” performances.

DRAMATICA had a guest performance featuring several new members at the recent “Textual Overture” performance at Cafe 5 in Kingsville on November 28, 2018.

Cast included: Amelia Kearby, Mike McCollough, new guy Cristian, Michael Verderber, Josue “Zeta” Villarreal, and Stephanie Wright.

As part of “Textual Overture”, DRAMATICA performed at the Pre-Valentine’s Day show in February of 2019 at Cafe 5.
